Twenty-year-old Raquel Gregorio from the town of Dumangas is representing the Province of Iloilo in this year’s Miss Paraw Regatta 2016. Standing 5’6 tall with a vital statistic of 35-23-36, this talented and gorgeous Ilongga loves dancing and singing during her free time. She’s currently taking up Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education (BEED) at Iloilo State College of Fisheries – Dumangas Campus. Her string of success by joining various beauty pageants includes Miss ISCOF – Dumangas, Miss PASUC 2014 1st Runner-up, and Miss Beauty Essentials. Aside from winning beauty pageant titles, Raquel also excels in academics in their school including her achievement as a Top 3 BEED student and an elected campus student government officer.
Her ambition in life is to succeed in her chosen career as a teacher and educator for young children. She believes that teachers should become great role model because they build characters, influence young people to become responsible citizens and guide them to a better life. The best feature about her can only be seen by heart, her character and compassion towards other people.
