Twenty-year-old Marla Mae Baes is a born acheiver and destined to become an ambassadress of goodwill with her determination to succeed in every endeavor in life. This charming lady who hails from Villa, Iloilo City stands 5' 4 and has a vital statistics of 34-27-35. A consistent honor student, she graduated as Valedictorian from elementary to high school. She finished her tertiary education at University in the Philippines Visayas as a full scholar. Presently, she works as Administrative Assistant at the National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA). In the coming years, she plans to pursue a Master's Degree and aspire to become a successful corporate executive. She considers her passion in declamation and oration as her edge in terms of having a strong communication skill. On her leisure time, she enjoy reading books and watching movies.
Most of the time, Marla is attracted to optimistic and independent people but dislikes those who has negative outlook in life. Proving she's more than a beautiful face and having an amiable personality, Marla believes that a true beauty queen should exude a balanced physical radiance and character. For her, joining beauty pageants allowed her to overcome her shyness and boosts her confidence. She wanted to fulfill her dream to become an Ilongga beauty queen who inspire others selflessly, and Miss Paraw Regatta will allow her to fulfill such significant aspiration.
