Another Ilonggo beauty from Guimbal, Iloilo set to compete as one of the official candidates of Miss Paraw Regatta 2016 is 20-year-old Alyne Dea Gargantos. She stands 5'4 with a vital statistics of 30-24-33. Currently taking-up Bachelor of Science in Marketing Management at the University of San Agustin, Alyne juggles her time between achieving good academic standing in school, being a campus beauty queen and a responsible student leader.
She wants to spend her leisure time creatively by pursuing her passion for blogging, reading sensible articles online and writing short stories. Her future plans include her dream to become a successful fashion designer, run her own charity organization and travel the world someday. She believes her inner strength is a manifestation of her patience, open-minded attitude and positive mindset. And to win the crown as Miss Paraw Regatta, she needs to share her good intentions to inspire her fellow youth, become catalyst of change and realize that beauty should come with a relevant purpose.
