Both beauty and sensible
mind, 19-year-old Jona Sweett represents the province of Aklan in this year's
Miss Iloilo Paraw Regatta as candidate number 12. A talented daughter of
Australian citizen Jefferey Sweett and Arcena Ili Romero, Jona stands 5 feet 7
inches tall with a vital statistics of 34-27-31. Her special skills include
performing fire dance and posses a unique culinary expertise. She loves to cook
various local and international cuisine. At present, she's taking up Bachelor
of Science in Hotel and Restaurant Management at Garcia College of Technology.
Jona is both a student leader and a beauty contest representative of their
school. She won 1st Runner-up in the Miss Garcia 2014, Miss Founders' Day 2014,
3rd Runner-up Miss Silka and 1st Runner-up Mutya ng Pilipinas -Aklan 2014. Jona
describes herself as optimistic, outgoing and approachable, someone who is
passionate to share her time, cheer up friends who are lonely and have troubles
in life. Miss Iloilo Paraw Regatta Grand Coronation Night is on February 18, 7
P. M. at WVSU Cultural Center.
