Miss Paraw Regatta Unveils 2016 Theme Song Lyric Video

The music of passion, the poetry of legacy and the beauty of timeless radiance unveiled in the lyric video of Miss Paraw Regatta 2016 theme song version online. Produced by RSLPhoenix Music, lyrics written by Ronelo Sanchez Ladiao, music and arrangement by Billy Basinillo. It was first launched in 2015 which was performed by former Miss Paraw Regatta 2015 Queens Janica Ella Hondrade and Ahriana Lovely Huyaban, the song made a mark as the first original theme song for a beauty pageant in Western Visayas. The song officially had its first radio airplay at local radio stations and special feature article in local newspapers last year.

This year, the Miss Paraw Regatta theme song comes back with a new version performed by the 2015 Queens who made a mark in the national beauty pageants namely Miss Paraw Regatta - Earth Iloilo Province - Roxanne Divinagracia who won Miss Filipinas Heritage- Culture 2015, Miss Paraw Regatta Queen - Earth Iloilo City - Jona Sweett and Miss Paraw Regatta - Aliwan - Angela Yagaya who became a Top 10 finalist in both Aliwan Festival Queen and Miss Bikini Philippines last year. The recording production and additional arrangement this year is spearheaded bv Justin Andrew Perlas of Supremacy Records. The video clips and direction was creatively produced by Jehu Rampola and BlueAntz Studio. The lyric video showcases the final 25 official candidates of Miss Paraw Regatta 2016 representing the most beautiful and charming ladies from different provinces in Western Visayas such as Iloilo, Guimaras, Capiz, Aklan and Antique footage taken during the candidates’ first production meeting, orientation and swimsuit photo shoot.

Kuris AMX Multimedia and BlueAntz Studio will produce an official music video for the song which is the Samba-inspired main theme of the 3 versions of the pageant song including Bosa Nova and Pop-Dance Version set for official release soon.

Jona Sweett, reigning Ms. Iloilo Paraw Regatta Queen - Earth (Iloilo City) 2015 and Miss Philippines Earth Eco-Tourism 2015 made the people of Western Visayas proud of her achievements.

A half-Australian, half-Filipino beauty, Jona hails from the Province of Aklan. Her elegant beauty and heart for social advocacy made her a perfect cultural ambassadress for Western Visayas not only in the field of beauty pageantry but in inspiring her fellow youth to become responsible role models.

Angela Yagala was crowned as Ms. Iloilo Paraw Regatta - Aliwan 2015. She represented Iloilo City in Reyna nga Aliwan beauty pageant this year. She was also sent to represent Iloilo in the Miss Bikini Philippines 2015 and landed as a Top 5 Finalist.

Angela, being a strong-willed and talented Antiquena from the Province of Antique, is the reigning Ms. University of Antique 2015. She advocates women empowerment and believes that through education, social reformation can be uphold and fulfilled.

Roxanne Divinagracia won the title as Ms. Iloilo Paraw Regatta - Earth (Iloilo Province) 2015. Continuing her journey, she competed in the Ms. Filipinas Heritage 2015 representing Iloilo City and was crowned as Ms. Filipinas Heritage Culture.

Roxanne is a classy Ilongga - charming, soft-spoken and gifted with talents. She's also the reigning Ms. Pandayan Festival Queen 2015. Her personal advocacy is to preserve our cultural heritage for future generations to appreciate our true cultural identity as Ilonggos.

MIss Iloilo Paraw Regatta Official Theme Song and Music Video

"Sail to the Stars" is the official theme song of the Miss Iloilo Paraw Regatta, an advocacy-inspired, Western Visayas-wide beauty pageant as part of the annual celebration of the Iloilo Paraw Regatta Festival held every third week of February, the oldest sailing sports event in Asia with culture-based series of events and Samba group competition. This is the first of its kind theme song for beauty pageant in Region VI. The song is written by Ronelo Sanchez Ladiao and music by Billy Basinilio, co-produced by the Iloilo Paraw Regatta Foundation, Inc. and RSLPhoenix Music. The music video is co-produced by Kuris Animation, Kuris Multimedia Productions with ABS-CBN Iloilo. The song is performed by Ahriana Lovely Huyaban (Miss Iloilo Paraw Regatta 2014 1st Princess) and Janica Ella Hondrade (Miss Iloilo Paraw Regatta Festival Queen 2014).
