Candidate Number 5 - Metchie Lyn Bacong

Representing the affluent town of Dingle in the province of Iloilo, 21-year-old Metchie Lyn Bacong is competing for this year's Miss Iloilo Paraw Regatta as candidate number 5. She stands 5 feet and 6 inches tall, with a vital statistic of 32-25-34. Currently, she’s pursuing Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education Major in Biology at West Visayas State University. During her spare time, she enjoy reading books, surfing the internet productively and watching movies. She describes herself as spiritually-driven person who believes in achieving her goals in life by finishing her studies, giving her best in everything she does and never fails to ask for God's guidance all the time. She also dreams of representing the Philippines in any international beauty pageants someday. Some of her achievements in joining beauty pageants include being crowned as Miss Education 2013 (WVSU) and Miss SCUAA 2014 Region VI. The grand coronation night of the Miss Iloilo Paraw Regatta 2014 is on February 18, 7 P.M. at the West Visayas State University Cultural Center.
